Mary Ann Rufo

Mary Ann, 80, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026, of Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. Formerly of Overbook in West Philadelphia, she was a former parishioner of Saint Donato’s Parish.

Mary Ann was a loving and devoted daughter of the late Daniel and Anna (Salladino) Rufo. She is survived by a family of close cousins and a circle of dear long-time friends.

Mary Ann graduated from West Catholic Girls High School in 1963. Shortly thereafter, she began a long and distinguished career with the Exxon Mobile Company, where she worked for 32 years until her retirement.

Mary Ann cherished her time down the shore, especially enjoying her former home and the many activities Sea Isle City offered.  She also enjoyed vacationing often in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Mary Ann loved going out for lunch and dinner, particularly when scripelles and baked clams were on the menu. She was a devoted Eagles fan.

Mary Ann will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was known for her generosity and thoughtfulness—never arriving empty-handed. Whether it was pastries, food, or gift cards, she delighted in giving and sharing with those she loved.

 Her kindness, warmth, and giving spirit will be fondly remembered and forever cherished.

Relatives & friends are invited to her Viewing Thursday, January 22nd, 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM ALL IN CHURCH at St. Andrew the Apostle, 3500 School Ln., Drexel Hill, PA 19026.  Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
