Mary T. Cacchio

Date of Death: January 1, 1900

Mary T. Cacchio, (nee Carozza) 92, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, with her daughter and son-in-law by her side. Mary was born in Philadelphia, Pa on March 11, 1922. Mary was the daughter of the late Eliodoro and Trisolina Carozza (nee Pili). She was the wife of Pasquale Cacchio, with with whom she shared 36 years of marriage before his death in 1979.

Mary’s love in life was her family. She enjoyed sewing and loved nothing more than to cook for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her loving daughter Patricia Boyle (Edward), son Joseph (Amy), sister Louise Lista (Rudy), sister-in-law Rita Carozza, and brother-in-law Anthony Maiorana. She is also survived by her grandchildren Michael, David, Stephen, Andrew, Brendon and Sophia, and her great grandchildren Joshua, Emma, Olivia, Lincoln, Casey and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mary was predeceased by her brother Frank Carozza, sister in law Helen Carozza, her brother Ralph Carozza, and her sisters Jean Maiorana, Angie DiBiase, and brother-in-law Ernie DiBiase.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family to celebrate her life from 10:00-10:45 am followed by a Christian Funeral Mass on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 11:00 am , at St Pius X, 220 Lawrence Rd, Broomall, PA. Interment will be at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mary’s name to The John and Arloine Mandrin Chesapeake Hospice House, 3675 Solomons Island Rd, Harwood, MD 20776

To my dear family. I have so many wonderful memories of Aunt Mary. But what stands out in my mind is our many Sunday dinners at our house growing up as kids.
