DiLELLA

Maureen M., (nee Mitchell), age 75, on August 14, 2026, of Landenberg, PA, formerly of St. David’s.

Maureen had a deep love for animals and generously gave her time volunteering with several local SPCAs throughout the years. She was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and always enjoyed cheering on her favorite team. Maureen also had a special love for Tastykake Lemon Pies, which were by far her favorite treat. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her compassion for animals, and the simple things in life that brought her so much joy.

Predeceased by her parents, Mary E. (nee Stalker) and James J. Mitchell.

Survived by her children, Douglas and Alexandra DiLella, and their father, Daniel DiLella, her siblings, Kathleen McKay and Margaret Backus (Rick), and her five loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives & friends are invited to her Viewing Saturday, August 22^nd, 9:30 AM – 10:15 AM followed by her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM ALL IN CHURCH at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Rd, Broomall, PA 19008.  Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
