Megan Delaney-Dath, age 57, from Springfield, PA, passed away peacefully at home on March 24th, 2026, after a bravely fought battle with Glioblastoma.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, on November 28th, 1968, and raised in Roslyn, PA, Meg graduated from Upper Dublin High School and later Shippensburg University, where she met her husband, Russell.
She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Russell Dath, their children Ian, Julia, and Emily, her father William Delaney, her two sisters, Kristen Scalley (Sean) and Suzanne Delaney, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless close friends and family members. She is predeceased by her mother, Joyanne (nee Glackin) Delaney.
Meg was a deeply creative soul. She earned her MFA in Painting from Savannah College of Art and Design, and shared her artistic gifts through teaching art classes for kids and adults. She was a devoted and loving mother to her three children. Meg dedicated countless hours to volunteering at her children’s schools and scouting programs. She was the kind of person who gave her time and kindness generously to everyone who knew her.
She loved drinking hot tea, adventuring to new places, and spending long days on the beach with family in Sea Isle City. Meg had an adventurous spirit and had taken trips to Europe, completed a cross-country road trip, and once lived in London.
She especially will be remembered for her sense of humor, boundless capacity to care for others, and love for her family. To know her was truly a blessing.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church at 3422 Dennison Ave, Drexel Hill, PA 19026, at 9:30 AM followed by a mass at 11:30 on Monday, March 30th. Burial will be private.
