Mike was a coworker, and my boss . We had mutual respect for many projects and people. He always cared for his workers and the finished work endeavors. Sincerest sympathy to the family he loved so very much. Many blessings & fond remembrances to all.

Dear Mike. I was so lucky to have had the opportunity to work for you at NAVSHIPSO as a young person. Thank you so much for the offer to stay during base closure, but I had other plans. Funny how we make plans and God laughs... it wasn't long after base closure and I ran into you working for Global. Thank you for hiring me again, I was glad to help. Some years later in life, I was off to lunch from my new job teaching machinist apprentices and WHAT????? There you were again. Haha. Mike, your blunt honesty and guidance is why I moved my family and returned to Navy. I work in DC to this day. Although in life, I kept weirdly running into you in crazy career land, It was certainly my pleasure to work with and know you. Thank you for all of the encouragement. You were right! My sincerest condolences to your family. I'm sure you will continue taking people under you wings! God Bless :)
