MANCINI
Mildred E. “Millie” (nee Beitzel) on March 6,2024 of Clifton Heights, PA, formerly of Atwood Rd. in Overbrook.
You could always find her with a hot cup of coffee, toast, and the newspaper. A true early bird, she would start her day with the sunrise and her favorite station, Action News. At night she loved watching the latest Hallmark movie. She was a lifelong reader and spent her days with stacks of books from the local public library as long as her eyesight allowed. Millie spent many years working at The Haverford School. She loved to drive, get her hair done, and go out to eat. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her extended family. Her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren could count on her for a big hug and her famous grilled cheese sandwiches. She lit up every room. Millie spent her years in Philadelphia before a brief stint in Chicopee, MA, then settling in Overbrook and Clifton Heights. Her last eleven months were lived making new friends at Rosewood Gardens.
Wife of the late Anthony, mother of the late Gerald, Sr., and sister of the late William, John, Helen Henne, and Ann Marie Bithell.
Survived by her daughter Patricia (Carl) Casella, Daughter-in-Law, Linda Mancini, 5 grandchildren, Daniel McCole, Gerald Jr., Brian, Megan Ritacco, and Lauren Casella, 4 great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Vincent, Michael, and Molly, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives & Friends are invited to her Visitation on Tuesday March 12th from 9:30 AM – 10:15 AM at Holy Cross Church 651 E. Springfield Rd. 19064 Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
