EDWARD A. STANKOVICH
May 26, 1944 – October 5, 2022
Edward A. Stankovich “Ed”, of Ridley Park, Pa. passed away on October 5, 2022, at 78 years of age. Edward was married to the love of his life Arlene Stewart Stankovich for 50 years.
Born in Philadelphia, Edward was the eldest of three and raised by his parents Helen Stankovich Bussone and Nicholas Bussone. Edward was a graduate in 1962 when he graduated from West Catholic High School. He went on to serve in the United States Navy and served in the Gulf of Tonkin during the Vietnam era on the USS Cochrane, DDG-21 in 1968 with a meritous award. Ed served his country and was honorably discharged in 1972.
Edward worked for Boeing 20 years as a Quality Control Inspector, and retired from Boeing in 2005.
Edward was the loving brother of Rosemarie Stankovich (deceased), Mary and his brother Nicholas Stankovich. Edward was the father of Deron E. Stankovich, Edward N. Stankovich, Donna Stankovich Masluk, the late Christy Stankovich Pendleton, Roman Senyszyn and Tanya Napoli. Eds grandchildren are Tatiana Stankovich, Deron Stankovich II, Christian Stankovich, Jordan, Justine, Johnny, Amber, Frankie, Roman, Billy, Gabby and Michael. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Eds time was spent watching sports. He was a die hard Eagles fan, a Phillies fan, and definitely a Flyers fan, and attended whenever possible. His love of sports made him a collector of same.
Friends and relatives are invited to his visitation on Thursday, October 13, 2022 between the hours of 4 and 5:45 p.m. with a services being performed at 6 p.m. at the Funeral Home of D’Anjolell-Barone Memorial Home of Wallingford, 908 S. Providence Road, Wallingford, PA. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to the American Diabetes Association.
