Neil A. Zoladkiewicz, 44, of Kenton, DE, passed away on January 31, 2026, due to complications from an ongoing medical condition.
Neil was an active service member of the United States Air Force and was very proud to call himself an Airman. Neil took great pride in the fact that he could serve the country that he loved and in all his accomplishments that he achieved during his career. Neil’s most recent job was with the Delaware Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Battalion. He very much enjoyed getting new recruits ready and prepared for their new military careers.
Neil was known for being a caring, loving, and loyal son, brother, uncle, and friend to all who knew and loved him. Neil’s favorite person in the world was his niece, Paige, whom he loved very much. Neil was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was also an avid animal lover and had three amazing dogs Oscar (who was waiting at the Rainbow Bridge for Neil), Flynn, and Odie, whom He loved and cared for very much.
Some of Neil’s favorite hobbies and interests were making memories with his family and friends, traveling (especially to any beach around), anything and everything to do with any Sport. He also enjoyed listening to music and going to concerts and watching movies. Neil also had a very fun, loving spirit and He always wanted to laugh, sing and dance and make special memories with those that he loved.
Neil was preceded in death by his loving parents, James and Andrea Zoladkiewicz, and his loving maternal grandmother, Mildred A. Bernard.
Neil is survived by his loving sister and brother-in-law, Erika and Michael Opet, his cherished niece, Paige A. Opet, and a host of loving friends and their children that he considered his nieces and nephews.
Relatives & Friends are invited to his graveside service with Military Honors 11am on Tuesday April 7th at Lawn Croft Cemetery 1000 W. Ridge Road, Linwood, Pa. 19061. The family will meet at the office of the cemetery at 10:30am.
