Nicholas Anthony DiMarco, age 70, on January 15, 2024, of Havertown, PA.

Graduated from Villanova University Class of 1974. Fond member of the Italian American Club.
Nicholas was a talented athlete who loved playing sports like football and baseball growing up. Upon graduation, Nick had a successful career employed by NAVFAC (Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command) for over 40 years as skilled Mechanical Engineer where he got to travel the world. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with family, dancing, golfing, and going to the gym. He also had an interest in cars and cooking.

Despite spending much time in and out of the hospital battling Hairy Cell Lekemia, he never lost his sense of humor, strength, or positive attitude. He had a great ability to make others smile. He was the first patient to have success on a clinical trial for his type of cancer and has changed the future for others.

Predeceased by his parents Dolores (nee Delmonico) and Nicholas A. Sr.

Survived by his daughter Caitlin DiMarco and her mother Mary Totino and his brother Bruce DiMarco.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Friday, Morning, January 26th,; 9:00 – 9:45 a.m. followed by his Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. ALL IN CHURCH at St. Dorothy’s Church 4910 Township Line Rd., Drexel Hill, PA 19026.Interment Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery.

So sorry to hear about Nick's passing. I remember him as a great football player in high school. My Dad took me to many O'Hara games, and I always remember Nick as a tough LB who, although undersized, was a dominant force on the defense. He was a great guy and will be missed.

Nick LOVED to ballroom dance! I have so many fond memories of him at Tish Sweeney and Church on the Mall dances. He tried every dance and danced with as many ladies as he could. My heart is saddened by his passing but feel confident he will be teaching all the angels in heaven how to cha cha! God bless you Nick.

My heart goes out to all of Nicks family and I send a giant hug to all of his loved ones. I only knew him from dance class but he was always so kind and looked after all they stray sheep. Again I am so sorry and stay strong.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Capt Torque. One of the legendary softballers of the NAVSSES Engineers. Nick, we'll see you in the field of dreams.
