He was the husband of the late Mildred "Millie" nee Scottoline, and brother of the late Vincent "Jim". He is survived by his sons; Dominic J. Joyce and Gerald N. and his granddaughters, Nicole Douglas Danese and Angela; his brother, Pasquale "Pat"; his sisters, Mary Michael Nappi and Josephine Citrone and his sisters-in-law, Elma Marziani, Mary Scottoline and Fayne Scottoline.
