Nola T. AndersonNola “Mu” Theresa (Harry) Anderson, of the Bronx, New York, was born on June 9, 1927 in Kingston, Jamaica, to the late Lena Bavastro and Vivian Harry. Nola passed away peacefully at age 90 on March 12, 2018 in Chester, Pennsylvania. She was a graduate of Immaculate Conception HS in Jamaica and worked as a sales clerk at the Salvation Army in Mount Vernon, NY until retiring in 1992.Nola was married for over 50 years to the late Lloyd A. Anderson and was preceded in death by her brothers, Caswell Harry, Alwyn Harry, SJ, and Sydney Harry. Nola is survived by her daughters, Geralyn Anderson Arango and Gail Anderson, son Michael Anderson, her beloved grandchildren, Megan Gregory, Courtney Arango, Nicolas Arango, and Jacob Harris, and great-grandchildren, Jacob L. Harris and the marvelous Crosby Arlo Gregory.Nola had a love of reading, walking, and entertaining, but her passion was her family. She was tough, funny, and loved a good magazine and a cup of coffee with half-and-half.Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at a Celebration of Life Service, officiated by Rev. Mr. James V. Walsh, on Saturday, March 24 at 2:00 p.m. at D’Anjolell-Barone Memorial Home, 908 S. Providence Road, Wallingford, Pennsylvania, 19086. Visitation begins at 1:00 pm.
