Palma M. Ricci, age 96, of Havertown, PA. passed away November 3, 2023, at home surrounded by her family.
She was a beloved wife of Egidio Ricci of 72 years, loving mother of children: Adonna M. Calabrese (Philip), Linda Griffith (Michael), Marlene Marino, Stephen Ricci (Carol), and Maria DeFelippes (Dean). 6 adoring grandchildren: James Dougherty (Suzy), Jacqueline Leo (Russell), Michael Dougherty, Danielle Marie Schwoerer (Justin), Nicholas DeFelippes, Joseph DeFelippes, 6 great grandchildren, and dear sister-in-law, Gloria Amoroso. Predeceased by her brother, Michael Amoroso, and her sister, Susan Bishop.
Palma enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, baking, sewing, embroidering, singing, and playing the piano. She received her most enjoyment by helping others, praying constantly for the sick, and by collecting clothes and making food packages for the needy. She took many religious pilgrimages around the world, including the Holy Land, Betania, Medjugorje, Fatima, and Rome. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Parish and sang in the choir for 47 years. She also sang in the Choir of 1000 voices in the Eucharistic Congress of Philadelphia in 1979.
Relatives and friends may attend a visitation, Wednesday, November 8, 2023, 9:30-10:15AM, with a funeral Mass to follow at 10:30AM, everything will be at Sacred Heart Church, Address to use with GPS: 110 N Manoa Rd, Havertown, PA. 19083 Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
