March 21, 1966 – October 18, 2024
Patricia Marie Hennessy, lovingly known as Patty, passed away suddenly on October 18, 2024, in Havertown, PA, at the age of 58. Born on March 21, 1966, Patty lived a life full of love, compassion, and warmth, touching the hearts of all who knew her.
Patty graduated from Cardinal O’Hara High School, setting the foundation for her future endeavors in both beauty and healthcare. She first pursued her passion at Venus Beauty Academy, later elevating her career at Bryn Mawr School of Radiology. For many years, Patty worked as a dedicated medical imaging specialist at ICON, where her meticulous care and heartfelt commitment to her work left a lasting impact.
Known for her heart of gold, Patty embodied kindness in every facet of her life. Whether professionally or personally, her genuine care for others shone brightly. Patty was a woman of great passion. She found joy in traveling the world and exploring new places with wonder and excitement. Her love for cooking allowed her to create lasting memories with her family, who she cherished deeply. The ocean was her sanctuary, a place of peace and reflection, and she adored beach trips. Live music filled her soul, especially attending Rod Stewart concerts over the years with her husband Sean. She had an immense love for dogs, spoiling her pets like they were her children. Family traditions held a special place in her heart, and she upheld them with enthusiasm, always bringing loved ones together.
Patty is survived by her husband, Sean Michael Hennessy (whom she affectionately referred to as, “Sean Michael-Michael”), and her sons, Ryan Patrick Hennessy and Austin William Hennessy, the true pride and joy of her life. Her sister, Rose Marie Troutman (Mark), along with her brother Dino DiBattista (Ramona), also mourns her passing. Patty is further survived by her in-laws, William Hennessy, Nancy Kramer (Don), Mary Menzies, and Nancy Hennessy, as well as numerous cherished friends, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
