We were so very much shaken to hear of Jeannie passing. She was a very old friend from high-school days and being in each other's weddings. Watching our kids grow up when they were young. Trying to keep in touch over the years. We are keeping her and the family in our hearts and prayers. Love Sue and Bill Wark

To Jeannie (&Mike’s) family. I was so surprised & shocked to see this post that my friend from LF Class of 73 passed away so close to her 70th bday. Jeannie and Mike were in my 1st wedding in 1976. She is now reunited with her hubby her parents and siblings. My deepest condolences to you all. Your mom knew me as Cathy Severns
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Simply at a loss of words. You should be celebrating retirement, living life with your grandkids, taking casino trips. Something you were looking forward to with your daily countdown. You held me up after losing mom. We were a team trying to get through. It was difficult after mom was gone but you kept pushing me forward and said we have to continue our tradition of going to the casino and our shows, taking it all one day at a time. That was your motto. The time I got to spend with you both and our countless casino trips, I’ll forever remember, especially the one you and I took together after mom passed. How could I forget the inside joke of the three of us being the “Golden Girls”. I took offense at first (I am not that old!) but honestly, I wouldn’t change it for the world. I now have my two Golden Girls looking down on me. I hope heaven has slot machines and endless bonus games so you and mom can continue the tradition. Watch over your boys, your daughter in laws, and your grandchildren. They’ll need your strength to push through. I know you love them more than anything and how proud you were of each of them. Say hi to mom for me and give her the biggest hug you can. You know how much I miss her. Thank you for being my rock, my casino partner, my aunt, a best friend, and most importantly for being a second mom. Until I see you again, I love you Aunt Jean.

Jean, Still can’t believe this. You were so ready to enjoy your retirement. You devoted your life to your family, work. I know you are at peace in the arms of our Lord. You have been such a great part of our family. The best mom in law to my niece Danette, and the kids. I always looked forward in knowing you would be at family gatherings, to see your beautiful smile, and sparkling eyes. Always had a positive outlook. Your laugh was the best! I am comforted knowing you are now with big Mike, and the rest of your family that you forever missed. I know you will always watch over your legacy, all your grandchildren, your sons, and their wives. Ralph and I will miss you always.

Oh Jean, I’m just so shocked. This isn’t supposed to be happening. You should be savoring your retirement, spending time with your kids and grandkids, getting your nails done, and going to the casino with your niece. We only went one time face-to/face several years ago at a work meeting but formed a real friendship that has continued ever since. Thank you for all the calls over the years. If im being honest I kept waiting for my phone to ring last weekend with your voice on the other end gloating that you were done with work and had the freedom to sleep in and do whatever during the days. And even though I knew the call wasn’t going to happen, I still hoped it would. I’m so sorry you weren’t able to enjoy even one second of your retirement after giving 52 years of dedicated employment. You deserved to be able to enjoy it. The only thing I can find as a positive in all this is that you are with your husband, siblings, and parents who I know you have missed very much. I’m sure they all welcomed you with wide open arms. Rest well my sweet friend. I’ll always miss you and your phone calls. Thank you for being my friend. I have very few true friends, and you were definitely one of the few.

To the family - Losing a mom is the hardest thing. Please know that Jean was loved by so many of her co-workers "at the bank." I am shocked to know that you left us, Jean, but I do believe that you will rest in the arms of Jesus alongside Mike and Marie.for all eternity. I will never forget your motto when things got tough. "One Day at a Time"! You will be missed, My Friend! Love, Roseann
