Rita Wilent (nee Piccirilli),101, passed away on March 18,2023 at St. Martha’s Villa in Downingtown, PA. Rita was the daughter of Rocco and Philamena Piccirilli.

She is survived by her sister, Emma Fala and brother-in-law Albert Fala. Along with many loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and countless great, great nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her Loving husband, John Wilent. Also, predeceased by her brothers, John, Henry, Carl, William, Pat and sisters, Rose, Lillian and Florence.

Rita was born and raised in West Philadelphia where she graduated from Overbrook High School.

She worked many years at American Casualty Insurance Company in Upper Darby where she was selected “Employee of the Year” for her dedication and hard work,

She later worked at WPVI, Channel 6, as a PBX Operator before taking early retirement to care for her aging parents.

Rita was a wonderful Italian cook and baker.

Viewing and Funeral at St. Dorothy’s Church, Drexel Hill. March 22, 2023, Viewing at 9:00am followed by Funeral mass at 10:00am.
