Bob was born and raised in West Philadelphia, attended Saint Donato’s grade school, and then graduated from Saint Thomas More.

He is predeceased by his loving parents, Nicholas Travaglini and Lillian (DiStefano).

Bob was the devoted husband of his wife of 52 years, Ruth Ann (DiStefano) Travaglini, who he met on the Wildwood boardwalk many decades ago. They created a beautiful life and family together.

He is the proud father of their 4 children, Angela Wilson (Christian), Nicole Marino (Richard), Robert S. Travaglini Jr. (Jessica), and Stephanie Giglio (Patrick). He took pride in raising his children to be honest, close to one another, and good hearted. His legacy lives on through his 10 cherished grandchildren, who brought him endless joy and whom he adored deeply. Max, Alexandra, Wesley, Richie, Giavanna, Santino, Lucia, Siena, Priscilla and Nicholas; He shared a unique and special bond with his siblings, Nicholas, Steven, and Janet Travaglini, who remember him for his kindness, his wit, and the way he always made them feel cared for.

Bob was a man who lived for his family. Whether it was gathering for dinners, spending time on family vacations, or simply laughing and sharing stories around the table, his happiest moments were always surrounded by those he loved. He is known for his love of good Italian food, the Philadelphia Eagles, a good joke and loyal friendships. It was his warmth, selflessness, generosity, strength, humor and unwavering love for his family that defined him most. He will forever be missed.

Relatives & friends are invited to his Viewing Sunday evening, February 2nd; 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the DAnjolell Memorial Home of Broomall 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008. On Monday Morning February 3rd relatives and friends are invited to his additional viewing 9:30 AM – 10:15 AM followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM ALL IN CHURCH at St Matthew’s Roman Catholic Church 219 Fayette St, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.

I am so sorry to hear of Bobby’s passing. My heart and my prayers go out to the Travaglini Family. I first met Bob when I worked for Stanton Supply thirty years ago. His strong work ethic and kindness were apparent as he sought to help his customers with their commercial door orders. There was a light about Bob and he talked about his family in any spare time there was. He introduced me to tomato pie and I will always be grateful for that! Bobby was one of those people who was genuine, honest, and helpful... a true gem in a cynical world. My heart goes out to his family who meant everything to him. Wishing you all comfort and peace.

We never met Robert, but know his loving daughter. So sorry to the family.
