TracyRobert Bruce Tracy “Bob” on May 1, 2017 of Upper Chichester surrounded by his loving family. Bob was raised by his Aunts (Genevieve and Theresa) and Uncles (Jim, Purcell, and Robert) where he was a member of MBS parish. He attended Saint Leonard’s Academy, Saint Joseph Preparatory School, and Saint Joseph’s (College) University. He volunteered for the U.S. Army, 1959-1962, Philadelphia Army Air Defense Command (Nikes) and Walson Army Hospital, Fort Dix, NJ. During this time, he was actively involved in public relations and photography for the Army. Bob worked at Lumbermens Insurance Co., Allstate Insurance Co., Keystone Insurance Co., and AAA Mid-Atlantic Insurance Company where he was an Assistant Vice President in the Claims Department. As a member of both special and intercompany arbitration, he actively participated in the Philadelphia Claim Managers Association and the Del-Chester Claims Association. Family was the most important element of Bob’s life. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed relaxing with his family at their home in Sea Isle City. He loved all of the holidays, especially Halloween to see the creativity in costumes and Christmas when everyone returned home for family time. Bob was always there to lend a helping hand through his time and talent, working with numerous St. Joseph Church and School organizations, as well as, the Upper Chichester Senior Citizen organization. He loved his alma mater and was very proud to be a Golden Hawk. Son of the late Joseph & Florence Tracy, brother of the late Joseph and James Tracy. Survivors: Survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 57 years, Virginia (nee Miriello). Devoted father of Maureen (Bill) Tracy-Irving of Drexel Hill, Suzanne Tracy of Aston, Regina M. Tracy of Phila., Kathleen (Perry Stanger) Tracy of Wilmington, De. Also survived by his grandchildren William Robert “Billy” Irving and Victoria Tracy.
