"Uncle Bobby!! You are going to be missed BIGtime!! Mom cries quite often when she thinks of you, her big Brother! Plus, she's been mourning the loss of Dad for the last four years!! So the combined loss of her Husband and now her Brother has hit her. I promise I'll continue to watch over Mom. It's an Honor to do so! And I promise to check up on your precious Daughter's, my dear Cousins, Anita & Patty. And I will do my absolute best to check on my dear Aunt Dee. I wish we lived closer to them all. It's a tough situation, living in Maryland is not a short drive. And with Mom's failing health...!! Anyway, I Promise to keep in touch & stay in the loop with my Family there in DelCo!" Love & Miss you, Uncle Bobby! ~Your Nephew, Steve [& Mom, your almost 90yr.old little Sister!!]

We have known Bob and Delores for almost 48 years, living across the street from them in Collingdale for 11 years. They have been fabulous friends; our daughter Jodie was the "flower girl" in Anita's wedding. We have had many wonderful times together including a recent gathering at Anita and Mac's where we were laughing so loudly we thought the neighbors would call the police. Bob will be missed greatly by our family. We wish his family peace in his passing.

Captain Joe Sacchetti left a message on May 28, 2024:
I had the pleasure of meeting this lovely family just the day prior to the funeral, which happened to be Memorial Day as they were attending the Memorial Day Parade in Media, Pennsylvania. Dorothy’s nephew Joe O’Brien I and I recognized each other as fellow paratroopers from days past, and we spent a lovely 20 minutes getting to know each other. What better Americana and role model is a man that served his country as a navy radioman, and then built a family as a sheet metal worker through 71 years of marriage! Men like this are the real American heroes and it’s my privilege to pay full military respects at today’s graveside service. The words, “Please accept this flag on behalf of a grateful nation,” are incredibly appropriate.

What an honor to have known this man. He was always my Uncle Bobby and always will be. I was just a little child I think 3 years old when he and my Aunt Dee were married. A kinder generous man you will never find. He always had a smile for you and I loved talking to him about anything. I think what I admired most about my Uncle Bobby was his work ethic, the man never stopped and was dedicated to being the best at what he did. My condolences, heart, prayers and love go out to his family especially to my Aunt Dee who loved him fiercely and with every ounce of her being. Rest well Uncle Bobby you will be missed "ANCHORS AWEIGH"
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
