Robert “Bob” E. Dias

Robert “Bob” E., age 92, of Broomall PA passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 15, 2026.

Bob married the love of his life, Loretta, in 1963, and together they shared many wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. They cherished their time together and enjoyed creating memorable moments with their children.

Photography was one of Bob’s greatest passions and talents, and it was the heart of both his professional career and his personal life. He enjoyed a long tenure as a photographer with the Philadelphia Bulletin and later at Temple University. Recognized for his work Bob, received many awards for his photography.

Bob brought his gift for photography into his personal life, capturing special moments and lasting memories. He spent countless hours carefully organizing and creating photo albums that became treasured keepsakes

Predeceased by his parents, Louise (nee Vignola) and Joseph Dias.

Survived by his wife of 63 years, Loretta (nee Gonock) Dias, his sons Stephen (Michelle Rice), Christopher (Gail) and daughter Maria Stanton (Tom), his three grandchildren, Sean Hennessy (Ashley), Ian Hennessy (Jessica) and Megan Murray (Ryan), and his five great-grandchildren, Story, Shane, Jack, Luke and Juilianna

Relatives & friends are invited to his Visitation Wednesday, September 2nd, 9:00 AM – 10:15 AM followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM ALL IN CHURCH at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Rd, Broomall, PA 19008. Inurnment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
