Robert F. Thorp, age 83, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Taylor Hospital. He was a resident of Swarthmore, PA for over 60 years and a retired printer. Bob was a family man first and a musician second. He was the leader of his band, the Ambassadors. He is survived by his loving wife Sadie (Carbonara) Thorp, his children Bob (Janet), Peggy Ann Kinzly (Michael) and John (Lynne). He is also survived by his nine grandchildren: Emily, Amanda, Katie, Nathaniel, Katlyn, Nicole, Annie, Rebecca and Michael. He was the son of the late Howard and Margaret Thorp and brother of the late Howard Thorp.Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday evening 6:00-8:00 PM and Saturday 8:15-9:15 AM at D’Anjolell-Barone Memorial Home, 908 S.
