Roberta Jean Simcox

Roberta Jean Simcox, known affectionately to her family and friends as Bobbi Jean, was called up to be with the Lord and passed peacefully at home on Wednesday June 8th, 2022.
Bobbi Jean was beloved in her community of Upland, PA. She worked as a crossing guard for the Chester Upland School District for many years, and volunteered at Upland Baptist Church food bank, where she was also a member of the congregation.
While her faith and volunteer work fulfilled her soul, her heart belonged to her children and grandchildren. Bobbi Jean is survived by her children Dorlisa Harman of Chester, PA, Stephen and Rebecca Harman of Lexington, SC, Colleen Walker of Upland, PA, Neal J. Harman of York, PA and Andrew and Amanda Harman Sr. of Brookhaven, PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Cody Harman, N. Austin Harman, Mallory Harman, Weston Harman, Madison Hahn, Austin Zeger, Chase Koontz, Mason Koontz, Christopher L. Harman, William J Harman, Lucas W.G. Harman, Andrew Harman Jr, Aaliyah Harman, Ava Harman, Armani Harman and her great granddaughter, Andrea Harman, and her sister Laraine Maloney of Jacksonville, FL.
Bobbi Jean was preceded in death by her son Robert V Harman, her parents Robert and Dorothy Simcox, and siblings Bobby Simcox, Dorlisa Simcox and David Simcox Sr.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects to Bobbi Jean on Friday, June 24th, 2022 at 10 am. Services will be hosted at Upland Baptist Church, 325 Main Street, Upland, PA 19015. A small reception will follow the services.
