Despite our somewhat brief 8-year association, Roger quickly and significantly became important to our lives. He was a consummate gentleman. Greetings from him included a great smile, an outstretched hand, and a question such as “How’s Ann and the family?” Early Susanin-family stories from the Palmerton, PA days are classic American success stories - smart, ambitious, and successful. Ann and I send our heartfelt condolences to the Roger Susanin family and their many friends!

We were so saddened to hear of Roger's passing. We met Roger and Helene through mutual friends Pat and Hank Serafini, who had a PSU tailgate spot close to Roger. Roger was always so welcoming. There are so many tailgating memories that we will never forget. He was one of the good ones. Thoughts and prayers to all of Roger's family and friends.
