Roman Stephen Komendanczuk, 64, of Wilmington, passed away suddenly Saturday July 3, 2021. Born at Crozer Hospital June 3, 1957 to his late parents Antin (Anthony) and Ahafia (Effie). Roman worked for Nether Providence Township for over 20 years, and was in the oil service industry with Galbraith until present. Roman was an avid concert goer through the decades and loved the arts as well as traveling. Since a child, he was born with a fishing rod in his hands and traveled far to see these beautiful creatures up close, only to release them back into the ocean for the world to enjoy. He loved the sea, nature and tanning in the sun. He loved to work with his hands like his father and could have broken records with timing and accuracy in painting. He cherished the time spent with family and friends. Surviving him is his sister Olga Casey; nephew, Ronald (Liz) Casey, and great nephew Ronald Christopher ‘Ronnie’ with whom he lovingly adored. Services to be held at Holy Myrrh-Bearer’s in Swarthmore on Friday at 10:30am. Burial will be held private for his immediate family. Arrangements by D’ANJOLELL Barone Memorial Home of Wallingford.
