Ronald Charles Bagnato, “Ron”, of Aston, PA, formerly of South Philadelphia and Swedesboro, NJ, passed away on Thursday March 6th at Crozer Chester Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in South Philly, Ron was a highly skilled automotive technician and longtime associate at Rizzio’s General Automotive located at 9^th & Reed. Ron considered the staff at Rizzio’s like his second family and was an integral part of their business for many years before his retirement.

Ron was the beloved husband of the late Betty Bagnato (nee Mooney) and they shared 42 years together before her passing in 2023. Ron and Betty moved to Swedesboro, NJ in 1998 and enjoyed 25 years there. In his spare time, Ron enjoyed working on cars, renovating houses and camping. A devoted grandfather, he could often be found, playing chess or cards and watching his favorite crime shows with his best friend, his dog Molly.

He is survived by his children, Frank (Chery) Mooney of Gibbstown, NJ, Ronald (Gail) Bagnato of Bellmawr, NJ, Kelly (Dathan) Poole of Aston, PA, Monica Nava-Bagnato of San Antonio, TX and eight grandchildren; Hailey (Bobby), Frankie, RJ, Austin, Dathan, Nicholas, Kode, Adley. Services will be held Friday, March 14, 2025 at the DAnjolell-Stigale Memorial Home, 3260 Concord Road in Aston, PA. Visitation will start at 5:30pm until 7:15pm. A prayer service will follow at 7:30.

In lieu of flowers, Ron’s family kindly asks for donations to be made out in his memory to The American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 or The American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692 Dallas, TX 75284.

so sorry for your loss..Ron was such an amazing person..very kind and ,sweet,and funny..he always made me laugh whenever I saw him..he will truly be missed.
