TAYLOR
Ronald W. Taylor, of Lewes, DE, and formerly of Prospect Park, PA, passed away on May 15, 2023 at the age of 73.
He was the loving husband of Kathleen R. (DeRosa) Taylor. The couple recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 5, 2023.
Born in Philadelphia, Ronald was the son of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Patterson) Taylor. He owned and operated Rose Radio in Southwest Philadelphia for over 40 years and could fix almost anything. He was also a member of the Prospect Park Fourth of July Association. Ronald retired to southern Delaware where he loved model trains, tomato gardening, mowing his lawn, listening to country music in his garage, and spending time with his family, and especially his seven grandchildren.
Surviving with his wife are his children, Ronald P. Taylor (Lauren), Brian S. Taylor (Monica), and Karen A. Taylor; and grandchildren, Jack, Johnathan, Alexander, Nicholas, Peter, Georgia, and Lucas; and siblings, Robert Taylor, Marybeth Karaszkiewicz, Robin Dalton (Kenneth), and Russell Taylor (Kathy). Ronald was predeceased in death by his parents and brother, Richard Taylor (Anna).
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life in honor of Ronald on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at D’Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA from 10-11:30 AM, followed by a eulogy from his children in the chapel.
