Very sorry to hear this news. Caddied and golfed with Shane for 7 years and always enjoyed talking with him about teachers we had in common at both The Prep and SJU.

Shelly, Colleen, and Dan, I offer my prayers and condolences to you at the loss of Shane. I am so grateful that I was able to watch the beautiful celebration of his life through the livestream opportunity St. Denis provides. There were so many special thoughts to remember about Shane from Father Kevin’s inspiring homily and the beautiful Words of Remembrance from Shelly and Thomas! May God bring each of you peace and comfort!

Very sorry and sad to hear this news and for the McGovern family’s loss. I knew Shane from when we were growing up and playing Jr Golf together at Aronimink. He was a great guy and always very nice and respectful to everyone. Always made me feel welcome and glad to be around him. He was also a great golfer who worked hard and had a tremendous respect and appreciation for the game. We have been out of touch for a long time and this news certainly hits hard. May he rest in peace and be playing the best golf courses in heaven with his Dad. Fondly, Greg Lynch
