Shirley J Stefanowicz 86 PASSED AWAY PEACEFULLY SURROUNDED BY FAMILY ON THE EVENING OF May 28, 2026 . Born to Tennie and Robert Blackwell on 9/29/39 in Landgraff, West Virginia.
She was a loving, caring Wife, Mother,Sister, Aunt, Grandmom and Great Grandmom. She embodied the best of qualities ;unconditional love, strength of spirit and unending generosity. She was firm, unwavering and deeply determined in her purpose.
She loved Dogs especially the late “Lana”. Gardening of flowers and vegetables were a hobby she loved. She would often share tomatoes with neighbors. She cut her own grass until She was 82, and it was a quarter acre. Her favorite thing to watch on TV was GOLF. Most of all She loved being with her family. Jolynn and Carter were the apples of her eye.
Shirley lost the love of her life her Husband Leo 39 years ago. She was preceded in death by her Mom and Dad Tennie and Robert, her Sister Vicky and her beloved In Laws Louis and Wanda.
Shirley is survived by her only Daughter Karen Williams of Newark, DE, Her only Grandson, John (Chi) and Great grandchildren Jolynn (9) and Carter (6) of Gloucester City NJ, Sister Dottie of Boothwyn, PA, Sister Kathy of Pittsgrove, NJ. LIST of nieces and nephews, Kenny, Cindy, Dean, the late Paul, Michelle, Joanne and Angie, Jamie, Denise, and Jim. Eddie, Jackie and Patty.
Celebration of life will be held on June 9, 2026 at D’Anjolell Memorial Homes 3260 Concord Rd. Aston, PA. Family and Friends are invited to gather for a viewing at 11:00 then service at 12:00. Burial will follow at Immaculate Heart Cemetery 1701 Market St. Linwood, PA Lunch at Barnaby’s 5501 Pennell Rd. Media, PA. after burial.
