Stephen Lawrence Laurie

Stephen Lawrence Laurie of Arcadia FL, formerly of Southwest Philadelphia, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 29th, 2023.

Loving son of Karen Freida and Stacy Laurie (Catherine).
Devoted father of Stephen Lawrence Laurie Jr., Giavonna Elizabeth Laurie, and Gabriel James Laurie.
Loyal brother to Michael Laurie, Matthew Laurie and stepsister Kimberly Manning.
Also survived by his Nieces Leah Laurie and Liliana Laurie.

Born and raised in Southwest Philadelphia, Stephen’s heart belonged to his city and Philly Sports. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He was recently honored by the Knights of Columbus alongside his father, Stacy Laurie, with an award for “Family of the Month.” He was a graduate from West Catholic High-school. He loved to learn and believed that education was the key to success. Over the past year, Stephen found joy and fulfillment in a new chapter of his life after starting a new job at Babe’s Plumbing, Contracting, and Repairs. He received “Employee of the Month,” for the month of October and formed friendships and bonds with his coworkers that will be cherished for years to come.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral on Saturday December 9th, from 9:30-10:45 a.m. at the D’anjolell-Stigale Memorial Home at 3260 Concord Rd. Aston, the funeral service will be at 11 a.m. in our main Chapel. Interment will be at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
