MIGNOGNA
Stephen Girard “Steve”, age 75, on April 28, 2026, of West Chester, formerly of Drexel Hill and Warrington, PA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
In his professional life, he built a respected career with Jeep/Chrysler/AMC, where he served as an Operations Manager and later continued sharing his knowledge and leadership at Family Dodge for many years. In his retirement, he was a devoted volunteer with the American Red Cross, the West Goshen Fire Police and the 2nd Alarmers of the Philadelphia Fire Department.
In his free time, Steve found joy behind the drums playing the retirement home circuit with the Snap Jazz Band.
Steve loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed many family trips, including vacations to Italy, time in Ocean City, NJ and the family home in the Pocono Mountains, where he made so many memories sailing, kayaking and enjoying time at the lake over the years. He was an avid Eagles fan for Debbie and loved wearing his EAGLES green. He also enjoyed traveling to Florida and the Blue Ridge Mountains to visit and explore with Diana and her family. Steve was a key member of Vince’s amateur race team as a Crew Chief continuing his passion for automobiles. Hiking and camping along the Appalachian Trail with Chris were among Steve’s most special memories. Steve also loved spending time on the sidelines watching Chris play soccer at Albright and all the sporting events they shared together through the years.
Along with his family, Steve had a special “village” of friends who became family. Their compassion, kindness, and support were deeply appreciated and never went unrecognized.
Predeceased by his parents, Laura (nee Pollono) and Lidio Mignogna.
Survived by his wife of 41 years, Deborah “Debbie” A. (nee Strohl) Mignogna, his children, Diana Byrnes (Robert), Vincent (Kate), Christopher (Sarah) and his grandchildren, Caroline, Michael, Joey, Brayden and Grayson and his sister Diana Amatucci (Naz).
