Theresa “Terry” N. Galli

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Theresa N. Galli, (Terry) age 86, who peacefully entered eternal rest on March 30, 2025. Born and raised in Philadelphia, then residing in Broomall for most of her adult life, Theresa lived a life full of faith, dedication, and love for her family, friends and community.

Theresa retired from The Philadelphia Navy Yard in 1995, where she spent many years of her professional life. A devoted parishioner of St. Pius X Church in Broomall, she was known for her unwavering commitment to her faith, attending daily Mass without fail. Her presence in the church and her kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Theresa was a person who appreciated the simple joys in life, like her Italian heritage, making pizzelles, and being a lifelong Phillies fan. Theresa volunteered her time to help others by preparing taxes for those in need, offering her skills and generosity to make a difference in her community. She was also a dedicated volunteer at Gam-Anon for over 30 years, where she formed lasting friendships and provided invaluable support to many members. She became a leader within the organization, offering guidance and counseling to countless individuals in need. Her compassion and generosity were a source of comfort to all who crossed her path.

Theresa is predeceased by her parents, Charles and Rose Gueriera (nee Barra), and by her brothers Charles, Anthony, and Robert Gueriera. She is survived by her three sisters-in-law, Mary, Joanne and Claire Gueriera, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends who cherished her. Theresa’s warm heart and devotion to those she loved will never be forgotten.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church in Broomall on Saturday April 5, 2025 at 10:00am. Viewing will be held 9:00am to 9:45am at St. Pius X Church. Burial to follow at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Pius X Church, Broomall, PA in Theresa’s memory.
