Unico DiMeo

Unico "Teer" DiMeo, age 87, of Brookhaven, PA, a Navy veteran, died on June 16, 2007 at Wallingford Nursing Home.

Born in Philadelphia, Mr. DiMeo was the son of the late Ferdinando DiMeo and the late Grace Della Barba.

Mr. DiMeo served in the Navy during WWII and was an aviation machinist stationed in Alameda, California.

He was employed by the CEB Corp., as general manager, until his retirement in 1985.

Mr. DiMeo was an avid music lover who played several instruments. He headed his own band, which was formerly known as the "Down Beats". Mr. DiMeo enjoyed dancing and he was a member of the Redwood Senior Citizens group of Upland.

He was the widower of Antoinette DiMeo.

He is survived by his companion, Therese Norton of Brookhaven; his daughters, Marie Gattinella of Brookhaven and Joanne Natale of Washington Towhship, NJ; 6 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
