Vincent J. Giorno, born on May 16, 1934, in Manayunk, PA, passed away surrounded by loved ones. Raised in a close-knit Italian household, Vince embodied the values of family, hard work, and dedication throughout his life.
Vince excelled academically and athletically during his time at Lower Merion High School, where he distinguished himself in both his studies and as a talented wrestler. It was at Lower Merion where he met the love of his life, Vicky. At the age of twenty, they embarked on their journey together, marrying and creating a life filled with love and partnership.
Following his marriage, Vince proudly served in the U.S. Army as a Military Policeman in Germany, where he demonstrated his commitment to service and duty. After his honorable discharge, he pursued further education, attending Villanova’s night school program and earning a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. His hard work and determination led him to rise to the position of Vice President at CorrPro, where he made significant contributions to the company.
Above all, Vince was a devoted family man. His marriage to Vicky, along with their two sons and their daughter, was his greatest achievement. After retiring, he embraced his passion for golf, enjoying countless hours on the local courses with friends. Vince was also a lifelong fan of Villanova basketball and all Philadelphia sports, passionately supporting his teams. Outside of family and his favorite sports teams, Vince and Vicky cherished their time spent at their favorite getaway in Marco Island, Florida, creating lasting memories in a place that brought them joy.
