Vincent J. Mazzotta

Vincent John, age 62, on July 28, 2024, of Newtown Square, PA. Volunteer Fireman, Civil Servant, Loving Husband, and Parrot Head.

Vincent was a graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School (Class of 1980) and King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, PA (Class of 1984) Upon graduation from King’s College, he began a lifelong, fulfilling career as an accomplished Federal civil servant of which 38 years were with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

Vincent was a lifelong member of the Darby Fire Company #1, a past member of King of Prussia Volunteer Fire Company #47, and most recently a member of Newtown Square Fire Company #41. In addition, he volunteered for a number of years with the Lafayette Ambulance (King of Prussia).

Vincent was predeceased by his parents, Maria (nee Sheehan), and Orlando Mazzotta, and his sister Patricia “Patty” Mazzotta.

Survived by his wife, Eileen (Forbes). Also survived by his aunt Sister Rita Mazzotta, IHM; Sister-in-law, Monica Boyle (William), and Brothers-in-laws John Forbes (Margaret), and Arthur Forbes (Marguerite);  two nieces:  Kellie Forbes and Shannon Forbes; five nephews: Timothy (Andrea) Boyle, Daniel Boyle, Arthur Forbes, Daniel Forbes, and James Forbes; and three great-nieces: Siena, Maggie, and Elizabeth Boyle; and numerous cousins.

Relatives & friends are invited to his Viewing Thursday, August 1st 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM at the DAnjolell Memorial Home of Broomall 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008 followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at St. Anastasia Church 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073.  Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
